forgot to blog about flag day(:
it was really quite fun actually. did it with jane, eunice, christine, nandhini and amelia. jocelyn was supposed to come but she was sick, and then marilyn ran off to orchard or something with airika too. so it was just the 6 of us.
split up for awhile from the others and started heading down in soem random direction with jane. Just kept walking and walking. came to this building that was relaly really old and had a altar temple thing at the side and everyone there just walked up to us like really kind souls to donate. (: but in the end we got freaked out cos it was just getting so ulu. plus we were afraid the shop owners in the building would think we were ripping money off their customers so we left and walked backwards(:
i think MRT stations and traffic junctions are good places(: met up with eunice and the rest at another entrance of bugis mrt station i think. and just did flag day for the res of the day there. the best time were when an mrt train came, when a bus came, or when the traffic light turned green! haha. and there was this really funny man who gave us some talk about it being better to be blind and that it was god's gift to these children... blah blah blah. and all i asked was 'would you like to donate?' hahah.oh well. he even made a pose and stuck his cigarette wielding arm high up in the air.
stopped doing flag day at about 12. then went library to borrow foxtrot! i like bugis library. super quiet and everything is so organised. Found my asimov books too.
